In the Air Training Corps (ATC) you will learn about how aircraft fly to topics like how you can communicate with radios.
Lecture topics consist of the history of flight and the RAF, navigation training and communication skills. When you first join the ATC as a junior cadet you will learn basic radio, navigation, RAF and flight history
In first class, you will learn things such as airmanship, basic navigation and principles of flight. When you progress to Leading Cadet, you will learn things such as aircraft handling and advance radio and RADAR . As a Staff cadet you will learn things such as satellite communications and operational flying.
