Petty Officer Simon Lee RN and Officer Cadets Dan Brown and John Brierly spent an evening telling current cadets about their experiences since leaving the Squadron.
Simon, now an NCO in the Royal Navy, has spent the last few years working on board submarines. Simon left the Squadron in 2003 as a cadet warrant officer and joined the RN as an engineer. He hopes to take a commission in the next few years.
Dan and John left the Squadron as Flight Sergeants in 2008 when they went to University, John is a member of Northumbria UAS and Dan is part of Liverpool UAS. Both are enjoying their studies and time with the Air Squadron.
Cadets on the squadron had a chance to quiz all three about their experiences and get some good advice about careers in the Forces.
